DAY 1 : Transfer from Kigali, Rwanda to Bwindi National Park, Uganda
We will arrange your transportation from either Kigali Airport or downtown Kigali, ensuring a seamless journey to Bwindi National Park. The route we will take to Uganda is a picturesque one, passing through Ruhengeri, a charming town in Rwanda's northwestern region known as the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, another renowned destination for mountain gorilla tracking. As we continue our drive, we will navigate around the mountains, crossing into Uganda through either the Cyanika or Katuna border posts.
Our journey will lead us through the nearby towns of Kisoro or Kabale, both nestled amidst the lush greenery at the foothills of the Virunga Mountains and the hills adjacent to Lake Bunyonyi, respectively. As we wind along the mountainous roads, we will ultimately arrive at our final destination, Bwindi, in the early afternoon. Once there, you will have the freedom to spend the afternoon according to your preferences.
